The truth of the matter
Danced across the liar's lips.
The philosopher may stumble
But the honest man's world slowly slips.
The keys to the kingdom
Fell into the servant's hand.
The skies collapsed which
was unfortunate news for the land.

That would make awesome lyrics for a song! Did you write them?? I really like it :)
yeah, I wrote them, AND yeah, that's what I was thinking....but I'm having trouble getting a new tune.
i think i have one... i also wrote a song and have a tune for it... ill get around to "plunking it out" on the piano later. do you want it to be slow, or fastish? I was thinking somewhere in the middle, with a slightly haunting undertone, but mainly in a minor, but not too depressing key.
right, I think that the the refrain should be faster and the other parts slowish, but not too much....but yeah...
